Swipey Duels updates: what changed since launch

Live Duels on Swipey launched in August 2026 and changed quickly. The biggest shifts: gifting replaced voting on 1 September, personal reward tiers arrived in late August, a slot spin appeared inside duels in mid September, and a duel lobby with several rooms running at once went live in late September. This page lists each change in date order and is updated as new ones ship.

September 2026

All through August and September: new duel girls

New AI girls joined the duel roster almost every week since the August launch, so pairings keep changing from room to room. New characters for one to one chat are released on the same rhythm.

Late September: duel lobby and parallel rooms

Several duels now run at the same time. A room selection screen lists them with search, badges, a tag catalog and featured rooms, so you can choose a pairing instead of waiting for the next one. Viewers can also rate a duel when it ends.

Mid September: slot spin inside the duel

A spin (free for Premium members on a cooldown, otherwise paid in hearts) you can use during a duel. It never pays hearts back; the prize is always a bigger gift delivered to the girl you back.

1 September: gifting decides every round

The separate vote and its unlock step were removed. Each round is now won by the girl who receives more hearts, both bars reset between rounds, and the duel goes to whoever wins more of the five rounds. A one-time intro screen explains duels to new visitors.

August 2026

Late August: personal reward tiers

Each viewer got a progress bar per girl. Gifting fills it and unlocks albums in five steps, from My Private Collection to Unleashed Collection.

25 August: public launch

Duels became discoverable from a card on the Swipey home screen and from a promo banner. Hearts icons next to gift prices, room chat validation and audio fixes followed in the first weeks.

Mid August: first release

The first version of Live Fantasy Duel shipped on Swipey: two AI girls, five minutes, gifts from the crowd, and a private live for the winner's top supporter.

In progress

A desktop layout for duels is being built; today duels are designed for phones. More things to do inside the private live are also in development. They are listed here as coming, not as available, and will move up the page with a date when they ship.

Why this page exists
